In addition to NaviMeds, SSC will be launching two new products during the next 2 to 3 months. The first system is Navicare.net. This suite of products extends the concept initially to be found in NaviMeds and offers a broad range of functionality to support the overall management requirements of a care home. This includes operational home management (safety records, incidents, maintenance, equipment, etc.), enquiries and admissions, care management (resident records, assessments, care plans, reviews, etc.), Medication Management (NaviMeds), HR management and staff training,
NaviCare.net is unique in offering a comprehensive solution to manage the care home, its staff and the care they provide from within a single integrated system and using technologies that enable the system to be easily used at the point of care.
The 2nd system is NaviHospital, a fully integrated solution for independent hospitals or emerging health economies. NaviHospital offers complete administrative and financial management within a single system and uses the latest security and mobile technologies to support “near patient” activities. SSC has already had interest in NaviHospital from 5 hospitals in Bulgaria and a private hospital in England has already agreed in principal to trial the system. We are meeting these potential clients over the next couple of months to demonstrate NaviHospital.
To take advantage our position in the care sector with these unique and innovative products, the SSC board feels that it should further increase its sales, marketing and product promotion activities to capitalize on the market leading position. With this in mind, it has decided that the company should issue a further 350.000 shares, priced at 75 pence each, representing a 25% discount over the declared price. This offer will remain open until 15th December 2007. We feel that once the larger prospects firm up their interest in the range of products, specifically NaviMeds, the share price will increase significantly.
