NaviCare.net Care


The care module of NaviCare.net provides records relating to the service you provide your Service Users throughout Norwood. It is designed to fit Norwood and each Service will see information relevant to them. Care links closely with the Core such that events related to the Service User can be accessed directly from the User’s calendar or dashboards. Within Care, all records are accessed via the Service User card.

Service user records

Service Users within NaviCare.net are a master record which all other information such as assessments, observations, funding arrangements and others are linked to. Service Users can have multiple stays (relationships with Services) recorded and it is these stays that other information is recorded against. When viewing a Service User, your users can then choose (depending on permissions) to see a master reference card or a card specific to an individual service. Thus, it is easy for a QA manager to get an overview of all assessments that have been carried out on a particular Service User, while a Binoh worker can concentrate on the learning plans and timetables of the same Service User without distraction.

As all your Service Users are also Contacts within the system, you can produce form letters for them, attach files and notes to their cards and view / store an unlimited number of relationships between Service Users and their next-of-kin, key workers within  Norwood, doctors, therapists, other Service Users within the system and many more. Each Service User also has their own calendar on the system which shows users a chronological view of their history within Norwood as well as upcoming events or deadlines. This flexible view allows you to look for any patterns between events, such as visits and behavioural incidents that may need follow-up.

Assessments

Assessments are the NaviCare.net equivalent of paper forms you may fill in about your Service Users. They can take any form or appearance – from one of the built-in assessment such as Waterlow or Nutrition, to a custom Norwood assessment fully branded to look exactly like an existing form. Assessments can be multi-page and include guidance notes on how to complete them – of course the advantage of having them in NaviCare.net is that when these guidance notes aren’t followed, fields can be checked and advice given. In our tender we have included development days to provide you with your existing assessments on NaviCare.net – this includes your Care Plans which are maintained as a special form of assessment.
We fully support scored assessments which will calculate a score (and optionally risk category) based on the answer to questions within the assessment. It is quick and easy to view history for these to spot changes. We also provide a graphing view where scores from multiple assessments can be overlaid and viewed over time, providing an effective way of spotting trends or correlations. Assessment scores are customisable by you and can be linked into your Core workflow system such that high scores or changes are flagged for review.

Additionally, where you have historic data or forms you prefer to complete on paper, we can support these via ‘Stub assessments’. These store metadata about the form such as the date it relates to, the outcome or score or the person completing it, without storing the complete assessment. These will then be visible on the Service Users card or via search, and can include scanned copies of the original or a record of its location.

Accidents / Complaints

Accidents and complaints are treated as a special class of assessments that can be linked to Service Users, Services or Employees. Your employees will have guidance in completing these and information on numbers of accidents and complaints will be made available via Dashboards and Reports.
